Dick Cheney Up Close and Personal
Hear him on Larry King tonight? War is going well. The insurgency is in its last throes. We did the right thing to go to war even though all the reasons for going to war were disproved and Iraq was not deemed a national threat. But America will be safer. Recruitment numbers are good.
Maybe he really believes what the says, right?
Woops, no.
One of the reasons he fought so hard, and mostly won, to keep the records of his Energy Task Force secret, from early in his first term, was that they included detailed maps of the oil fields in Iraq.
Get the picture? The Iraq war is part of the Bush/Cheney energy plan.
Can't you see it working as it trickles down to your pump? And army bases are set to close? And schools can't meet their state budgets? Well, at least you had some relief on your taxes. You didn't? Bush and Cheney did. Link

I dont see any problem with that as part of our energy plan. It's gravy man.
Problem is: check the date at the bottom of the map.
03-01.
Six months before 9/11/01.
The terrorist attacks actually did this administration a favor: it gave them a reason to go to war. Something they didn't have before.
So, rather than going after the people who did this to us, Bushie takes out Saddam instead. Patriotic fervor and a few well-placed lies keep the momentum going.
People are dying so that a few businessmen can get their hands on more oil.
Oh, and you misspelled a word dude. the next to the last one: replace the 'y' with an 'e.'
Yeharr
To me its just gravy.
Dude likes the "hey if it works for now keep it" school of life. Even if he's blindfolded driving a packed school bus. "Hey, we haven't hit anything yet, works for now! Why change it?" Don't take off the blindfold man, you won't like what you see.
I guess my question for TDFP is, if oil's the gravy, what's the meat? What good has come from this?
Can you honestly say the world is safer for Americans now than when we first invaded Iraq?
No yeharr this time.
Gravy isn't everything.
I like gravy on Turkey. Didn't Turkey tell shrubco to stuff it on the invasion? Oh yeah, they were right along along.. Pass the potatoes Dan, Ireland is next.
