The Carve Up Begins

Remember why there's not exit strategy in Iraq? (see previous posts) We were never meant to leave. So the quick war, quick peace thing was just part of the theater for the real agenda, staying and getting all that oil. I'm referring to Condi's "we're making a generational commitment in Iraq" comment the other day that had everyone within earshot going - "what?"

The Carve Up Begins as global oil giants meet next week to discuss slicing the pie of Iraq's oil fields between them.

As my son the Lieutenant said (and I put in a previous post):

"We're not leaving"

I just wish people had listened to all of us BEFORE the war started. We have been proven 100% correct in our opposition.

We weren't all just conpiracy nutjobs.

1 by 1 the rethugs are coming to the realization that they were bamboozled. Did you hear what Chuck Hagel said? "worse than viet nam..."

I think everyone needs to go back and read Noam Chomsky's book Hegemony or Survival. It was written in the run-up to the war and during its initial stages, published in november 2003. It is Nostradamus-esque in its predictions.

bye for now - off to the ortho-surgeon.
